Assessments (or tests) are a useful tool to help our students achieve their potential. Basically two forms of assessments are used in the school - Informal tests and Formal examinations.
Informal tests are conducted at class level, and may be in a variety of forms such as written assignments (e.g. homework) and oral questions (e.g. quiz). The results are intended to help the teachers track the progress of the students so that their one-to-one remedial sessions may be more meaningful and beneficial.
Formal examinations are conducted four times a year, one at the end of each term. The questions are set by the subject teachers for moderation with final approval by the Heads of Department and Principal. All students in the two campuses sit for a common paper. The results are recorded in the report book.
