The use of computer forms an important platform for the learning of all subjects. Information Technology (I.T.) is not taught formally as a subject. It is used as an effective tool to enhance learning, as done in Singapore schools. Students are taught the use of the internet so that they may bring the world into the classroom.

At the end of Primary Six, students may sit for the International Primary School Leaving Examinations (iPSLE) conducted by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB). The iPLSE is the international version of the PSLE which all students in Singapore primary schools sit for before moving on to secondary schools.
