The 4-year secondary education curriculum builds on the strong foundation of the primary education curriculum. It is based on the curriculum for International General Certificate of Secondary Education (iGCSE) conducted by Cambridge University International Examinations. In the first two years of the secondary school (Lower Secondary), students are taught a wide range of subjects. This allows for a better choice of subjects to focus on in the final two years of secondary school.
In Lower Secondary, students are taught English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Literature (all taught in English), Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia. Non-examination subjects include Physical Education, Music and Art & Design
In Upper Secondary, students prepare for the iGCSE examination. Depending on their ability, students may offer from 6 to 8 examination subjects.
All students offer:
- English
- Mathematics
- Combined Science or up to 3 separate Pure Science subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Depending on the demand, students may choose the following subjects:
- Economics
- Art & Design
- Business Studies
- Additional Mathematics
- Mandarin as Foreign Language
- Bahasa Indonesia as Foreign Language
